SpaceX gave a new SiriusXM radio satellite a ride into space from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Sunday.
The satellite was delivered by a Falcon 9 whose first stage returned to the drone ship “Just Read the Instructions” in the Atlantic Ocean. It was the seventh time the booster B1051 was launched and recovered.
It is not the only SiriusXM SXM 7 spacecraft expected to be placed into orbit. The sat, which was built by Maxar of Palo Alto, will be among a new group of satellites in orbit for the broadcaster.
