American Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley live-streamed a tour of the inside of the Crew Dragon capsule and announced they named the capsule Endeavour.

The name honors the shuttle program but also there is a personal reason for the name Doug said.

“We both had our first flights on shuttle Endeavour and it meant so much to carry on that name,” he said. “Welcome aboard.”

The shuttle Endeavour is on display at the California Science Center.

The astronauts who trained for months at SpaceX in Hawthorne, lifted off from Kennedy Space Center on Saturday afternoon, following a scrub of the first launch on Wednesday.

Bob said there was also a stowaway on board.

Bob said the sons of the astronauts voted to let their dads bring their toy Apatosaurus named Trimmer with them into space.
